What is a Hobby and what is its Purpose?

A hobby is any recreation pastime which incorporates the interest of the participant and will often require accompanying products or might result in a completed project. Once a new hobby is selected, the new participant might want to check out the local hobby stores or a nearby hobby shop to investigate the hobby supplies she or he will need. The purpose of taking up a hobby is to satisfy those creative or mind-expanding urges we all have. By pursuing one hobby of interest, the hobby participant might find that she or he is more interested in a related hobby or, perhaps even, an entirely different area of hobby options.
